Cute Things

Whats up everyone, im 17 years old now lol. (btw, not going to be worrying too much about proper writing and grammar.)
so I've been in a shopping mood recently and currently im looking for a black purse and then i want to have one of those puffball keychains on it and maybe like a dangly one too but i don't want it to be like annoyingly loud. Christmas is coming up and mom wants to get us stuff so im looking for just a cheap cute purse, around 20$. not too bad of a price, right? so this friday, me, mom, and katie are going to platos closet for some clothes and stuff so i can wear cute shirts and shoes with leggings, but what if i find a purse there? so i should prob wait till friday to officially order a purse. in this blog, ill make like lists of stuff i want, specifically purses for now, and maybe include some outfits i find cute. and i should also write down or add pictures of cute outfits i wear. they're like cute but lazy outfits, mainly all with my new leggings. im in lovvveee with the victoria secret leggings, they're the best, they make me look skinny and make my butt look good haha.
i should also go through all my pictures and screenshots i have on this laptop cause my desktop is fullll, its ridiculous. Okay so i just cleaned up my desktop of all the useless screenshots i have. took forever lol. okay here are some cute things i found:

okay im gonna make a new blog post dedicated to bags i want/ might want.

I Want Differences

Hello friends!

It's been a while because of technical issues. I just wanted to blab about some randomness I noticed today.

Today I decided to dress all in panda attire. This included my entire panda kigurumi (a onesie), furry boots, my panda hat, and my panda backpack, plus a little panda fluffed animal. I went into a grocery store in this ensemble. Of course, I expected tons of stares. But one lady commented, "Just out of curiosity, why are you wearing that? It's cute as hell, but...?" I replied, "I don't know. Just because I wanted to." She walked off saying, "That's adorable."

What I noticed was that people are shocked by what is different from them. I mean, I was wearing a full panda suit, but I realized the obvious. Take Anastasiya Shpagina, VenusAngelic, lolitas, decoras, gyarus, Dakota Rose, Valeria Lukyanova (my autocorrect hates me right now XD). I love all of these people and subcultures because they are so different and they aren't afraid to be. I love their courage and I aspire to be someone as courageous as them one day. I am no one special right now, but with time I hope to be the one to change America's opinions on uniqueness.

All I see are t-shirts and sweatpants. But the sad truth is that is what I wear to school everyday. I've been trying to wear riskier and riskier clothes whenever I can. I want to be the most shockingly popular person I can. Not because I was a movie star, celebrity, or singer. But because I changed the world's view of personal style. I want everyone to look different! Especially myself; I want to shock everyone.

DarkJedi Remixes!

Hello friends!

Let's make this quick, shall we?

This post is about DarkJedi remixes. As you may know, I love Björk and these remixes feature Björk. I've listened to almost all of her songs twenty thousand times XD So I was wanting something a little different and I stumbled across the most perfect remixes of Björk I've ever heard. I wanted to share the beauty with you!

First and favorite:

Okay it's not in order anymore.

The following are not DarkJedi remixes, just some I love:

I apologize if these are not correctly linked, although they all should be. I extremely recommend listening to these.
At least once!

That's all for today,

Favorite Blogs

Hello friends!
In this post I'm going to tell you (and very much recommend to you) a couple of my favorite blogs. Now, most of these blogs are mainly about the style of Lolita (a Japanese fashion, not to be confused with the book). So if you love the many styles of Lolita, I recommend the blogs that I tell you are Lolita.

These are in no order:

pastelbaby.blogspot.com aka Kawaii or Die or Bri. This blogger inspired me to dress more socially appropriate (haha) and she is a lovely girl with amazing fashion sense. Skater skirts are now my favorite piece of clothing! I've read all her posts from beginning to her most recent and am awaiting her next because she is so... so... kawaii!!

FrillyPinkDreams- My Scotland Adventure, part 4 FrillyPinkDreams aka Frilly or Josephine. I've linked you to one of my favorite posts from her's - When she meets Princess Peachie! Read it, you'll find out! FrillyPinkDreams is a true Lolita, so cute, and so passionate about cuteness, as well. I have, again, read all of her posts from beginning to her most recent. Josephine is a beautiful girl and extremely inspiring. Her outfits shown in all of her posts make me want to die of cuteness! I love her and her blog and wish to someday be a Sweet Lolita myself.

herlumpiness.com aka Miss Lumpy. Miss Lumpy is an extremely intelligent blogger who holds both your interest and your curiosity. She is a wonderful Lolita and posts about many different topics, mainly involved with Lolita. I am in the midst of reading every post to her most recent (this is how I start to read for most blogs, so I don't miss anything and understand more about their blog). So far I enjoy every bit of her blog, and I intend to read the rest. She is an inspiring Lolita, both beautiful and intelligent, and I hope she continues this blog because she does it well!

parfaitdoll.com aka Victoria Suzanne. Victoria Suzanne has been writing this blog since 2008, so I have much to read! I have read a couple of posts of her's and so far she is a fantastic fairy-kei girl. I love her innovative blog posts and she is definitely an inspiring person! Her successful blog is full of relatable topics, such as Being a Plus-Size Lolita , How to Be Alone (Without Being Lonely) , and How to Wear a Wig (And Look Like a Model Doing It). I cannot wait to read the rest of her beautiful blog and I'm sure I'll learn plenty of fantastic things!

That's all for now and I hope I'll discover more amazing blogs such as those listed above! Please remember these are in no order, I love them all equally! Please recommend some more blogs for me to visit; I'd love your opinion!
Thanks for reading!

New Traditions

Hello friends!

Thanksgiving is coming up! I can't wait because for the first time in possibly two years (?) we may be having a home-made dinner! Some Thanksgivings we went to my mother's cousin's house because she has a family and friends Thanksgiving with fantastic food (pumpkin pie- oh my golly, mouth-gasm haha). We also usually go there for Easter, too. Don't get me wrong, my mother is a good cook, but at my mother's cousin's house it's just a bit more festive.
We used to have some nice holiday traditions when I was younger, but with age comes the wish to not be around family (teenagers, huh?). But I'd still like to have some nice traditions, and here in this post I'd like make a list.

New Year's: The first tradition of the year! I'd like to watch fireworks (and not just on the news this time!), eat chicken wings (I'm not a big fan, but if they're boneless I'll indulge occasionally), and umm... I can't think up any good ones. Go to Red Lobster maybe? That'll do.

Valentines Day: If I am lucky enough to have a Valentine, we'd just exchange goodies and get on with it. I don't mind Valentines day, and I don't know why people don't like the holiday. It's a great day to celebrate a couple's relationship, but yes, they should celebrate it everyday, anyway. I just like the festivity. If I am alone, I'd buy myself a pack of heart lollipops and eat the entire bag before 8:00 pm. Then, I'd buy a chocolate bar and microwave it, then have a dip for my lollipops! ^*^

Easter: Two days before we'll dye Easter eggs and make hard-boiled eggs. I'll wake up on Easter day, go to church, and during church I'll eat a bunch of Dubble Bubble gum (the one that runs out of flavor extremely fast). When we're driving home we'll stop at QuickTrip or 7/11 (my local gas stations) and I'll get a coca-cola slushy, a mini Andes mint, some mint M&M's, Trident bubble gum, and cotton candy. We'll go home, open Easter baskets, then go to my mother's cousin's house for dinner.

4th of July: Watch fireworks, of course, then eat some barbecue, maybe go to a restaurant. But we may not go out to dinner because the next day is my sister's and my birthday. We aren't twins, we were born 2 years apart on July 5th, the same day, unplanned by my mother. My sister is older. Anyway, that's all the traditions I can think of for this holiday.

Halloween: For Halloween I'll dress up in my panda costume, take pictures, hand out candy to children, have a Halloween party a couple days before, drink a bunch of Monster energy drink (Monster- ha, get it?), and then eat all the candy I want.

Thanksgiving: Before Thanksgiving, I'd like to go horse-backriding and going to a pumpkin patch/ apple orchard and also buy fudge at the store. On Thanksgiving day we'll go to my mother's cousin's house at about 4:00 pm for dinner, eat plenty of pumpkin pie, then after that we'll go Black Friday shopping. We'll also decorate our house in the loveliest autumn decorations we have. The scent I'll associate this holiday with is pumpkin, especially the fragrances at Bath and Body Works! <3 mmmm!

Christmas: My favorite holiday. The festiveness, the lovely little decorations, the B&BW fragrances, the chill in the air, the snow, the religiousness, the cinnamon buns on Christmas morning, the intricate ornaments, garland, and lights we adorn our houses with, the yummy hot chocolate, the comfort of warm clothes! Ahh... I love Christmas. Surprised I didn't say the presents? I feel extremely shy and greedy when I open presents. I hate opening presents, really. Of course I love receiving a nice gift now and then, but then on Christmas (oh, AND my birthday, as well) when there's a plethora of presents, bring on the shyness! Anyway, the traditions I'd like to initiate this holiday are the following: I'd like to go to _____ (I would not want to give away my location), which is a place with cute little shops consisting of little boutiques, cute little candle stores, knick-knack stores, a candy store, hot chocolate store, kettle corn stand with cookies, a tea shop, etc. There are also some nice little restaurants. There are carolers, a santa clause man, and snow on the ground. It's quite fun! Plus, I want to go to Barnes&Noble bookstore! I'd also like to eat cinnamon buns, drink hot chocolate, open presents, and watch holiday movies. Then I'll play in the snow if we have any this season. Honestly, my state has the strangest weather.

So those are my traditions, I hope you'll tell me yours!
Have a nice night!

Halloween + Nails of the Week + Life Story

Hello friends!

Everyday I think of more and more ideas for new and exciting blogs! I won't go into details about the new ideas in this post, but be ready for a couple more Upcoming Blog posts.
This post is going to be about a couple of things: first, my Halloween costume and about my Halloween this year, and second, my first post in my new Nail of the Week series!

So my costume was a panda kigurumi. For those who do not know what a kigurumi is, please look it up because I feel too lazy to explain it right now. Sorry! ^v^
So this is what it looked like:

Paws were unfortunately not included, but I found a nice deal for these paws off eBay, which is a fantastic online shopping website (for those who didn't know:) If you can't find a specific item you love off Wanelo, Amazon (which is unlikely), Storenvy, etc, you should most definitely try eBay.

Anyway, sorry for that random website review, haha!

I didn't go trick or treating, for I am fourteen years old. I understand the beautiful piles of free candy, but I don't feel the need to eat such a large amount of sugar, heehee. So what I did this Halloween was host a small get-together with some of my friends, and on Halloween night (which is tonight), I dressed in my panda and paw costume and passed out candy to several children. It was quite fun. Nothing special, but I feel like these holidays' traditions seem to fade as one gets older. I love Christmas and I truly hope this Christmas's traditions are unaffected by time, unlike some other holidays, such as Halloween and Easter :( I'd like to try and reinforce more traditions these upcoming holidays.
OOH! New idea for a blog post: List of traditions I'd like to have these upcoming holidays. Of course the title would be shorter, heehee, but you get the gist.

Next topic: My nails of the week!

As you can see, my panda stuffed animal is in the background because I love her:) You can't see my nails that well, and for that I apologize. I will just give you a description- So my nails are pastel color blue, pastel color green, pastel color purple, and pastel color peach as the base. I dotted on these lovely colors with some nail dotters that my sister so generously let me borrow. I then polished on a bit of glitter and voila! You're done :D It is a very ocean themed design that would be beautiful at the beach. Unfortunately, I am quite a distance away from the beach. Living in the middle of America is sometimes boring, plus I live in tornado alley, but I've never seen a tornado in real, true life. Sorry, I'm a rambler :3

My inspiration was finding the nail dotters on my sister's vanity and then looking over at the beautiful pastel colors. I decided to try something a bit new. My next design is most likely going to involve pandas. I am excited to show you my nails again next week! Hopefully, there'll be a whole plethora of pandas! :D

A bit of bad news and a brief life story:
I have been experiencing flare-ups from my arthritis (JRA- Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Please do not hesitate to look it up if you are curious). I will just give a bit of a backstory: I was diagnosed when I was two years old with JRA. It was in every single joint in my body and it attacked my immune system, blah blah blah. Anyway, many hospital visits, IV's, vitals (TOO MANY), blood draws, pain, medicine (sooo many disgusting medicines) later, I went into remission. I experience mostly finger pain in the morning. They get swollen in the morning, then usually the pain and swollen-ness goes away. This past week it is more than just morning and I am scared. A couple months ago I had visited the doctor for finger pain and he said I ALMOST had to go back on Prednisone (a disgusting steroid that makes you fat) if they found fluid in my joints. Like, what? Well, if I have to go back on this medicine, it will make me fat  like it did last time. When I was about 3 or 4 years old, my mother told me, people would ACTUALLY go up to my parents and tell them they were horrible for letting their child "get that way." Can you believe they had the audacity, the gall, to say that directly to my parents?
Of course, many years later I lost all the weight, but I had some comments about my weight when I was about 11-12 years old. I WASN'T EVEN FAT OR OVERWEIGHT! There were plenty, PLENTY of people that should've been ridiculed more than I. This took a toll on my self-esteem, of course, and there I was falling into a downward spiral of depression, as well as a harsh eating disorder. Along with this, I dealt with a divorce of my parents (who are now back together now) because my dad was an alcoholic and it was too much and there was a huge night out of it with a gun, and police, and many beer cans scattered amongst our house. Long story short, Mom got a divorce that night and we lived at my grandpa's house for quite a while. My grandpa was currently in the hospital with colon cancer and shortly after, he died. What a mess. I hadn't seen my dad in months and then we finally met up again. We figured out he'd changed and removed himself from alcohol completely.
Some months later my mom, sister, and I bought a small condo. Months later, my parents got back together on my sister and my birthday (we have the same birthday, 2 years apart, unplanned). We moved back into our original house and that's where we live now. But that was not the end of my story. I had a huge problem with depression and an eating disorder and then I'd gone to therapy after an emergency hospital visit because my mom found some texts of mine to a friend. I continued going to that therapist, until the big guns were brought out. My mom read my diary out of concern for my health and well-being after I told a therapist I had for one session that I wanted to.. not live anymore.. blah blah blah skip over that part.  I was sent to a Center Pointe hospital where I stayed for 1 week. I was then sent to an outpatient program when I got out, but this actually furthered my desires to self harm because of the ideas I got from other patients. I received a new therapist that specialized in eating disorders, with whom I still see to this day (the previous things all being about 1-2 years ago).
I began gaining confidence after having a boyfriend, but then he went on vacation and betrayed my trust. No, we did not engage in adult-only actions (if you were assuming), as, of course, we are MUCH too young. Fourteen and fifteen is not the age for such actions. Not even up to eighteen, in my opinion, whatever, I'm rambling again ^.^  So after this break-up, I was challenged by self-loathing and hatred of myself. But eventually, I broke through the teenage issues and emerge as a totally new person today. I am a mostly confident girl, I know what I want out of life, I know my interests, I know my body, and I know what I need to do to make myself happy (watch panda videos :3) So in a way, the entire process was just to know more about myself. I believe you have to go through traumatic experiences, survive through them, and know how to survive next time to truly know yourself. Go with the flow.

Some nice quotes that helped me through:

"Declare independence. Don't let them do that to you."
~ Björk, Declare Independence

"If you think I let you pull me down, too, you're third-class communication. And bulldoze over all my sensitivities. I let you corrupt it. Sod off..."
~ Björk, Sod Off

"You're the one who's missing out, but you don't know yet. Until after five years, if you live that long. You'll wake up all loveless."
~ Björk, 5 Years

"How could I be so immature? To think he could replace the missing elements in me."
~ Björk, Immature

"If you're bleeding, undo. If you're sweating, undo. If you're crying, darling, undo."
~ Björk, Undo

OKAY, basically ANY Björk song!!!
I would not recommend listening to Ancestors first because if that is the first song of hers that you've ever heard, you don't really know her style and you'll judge much too quickly. If you think the song Ancestors is weird, still, do not be quick to judge. This song is extremely poetic (as are most of her songs) and the singing is the beautiful art known as throat-singing. The background piano is lovely and you can even get it instrumental. These songs inspired me and my own poetry. She is truly a gift to the world.
Thank you, Björk~

That was quite a long post, I apologize.
Time to finally end the post, my Sweets, but I'll be staying up all night because NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!! For teacher meeting reasons, whooo!
If you read this entire thing, props to you :D
